Offensive "news" report from MSNBC

It is about the transman who recently appeared on Oprah. Can anyone confirm this actually aired before I go on a tirade about it?



edit: got the embedding fixed. i feel i should write a letter, but i'm not even sure how to begin or what to say. it's just totally intolerant, and it's not just the three anchors. The directors and producers have just as much responsibility. did they really think it's okay to mock and snigger about this?

I can't find it on the msnbc site. It's no excuse, really, but the piece apparently was part of the "talking points memo" show, which is political opinion and not staffed by "anchors". Still, TPM is supposedly a "left" group and I can't believe how intolerant and childish they were about all this. It's none of their damn business to say it's "disgusting" and so on. I'm kinda gobsmacked.

I was wrong, it wasn't TPM, it was on "Morning Joe" with Joe Scarborough. The video narrator was Willie Geist, and the other commenters were Joe and Mika something.

actually it was posted to the feministing feed. and they're asking people to contact the show/network to complain.

the more people that call them on this the more likely they'll figure out it's not ok. if we just blog about it and move on than we're only doing half of what we can do.

we need to yell at them for this. >:O

I read an article in People today while waiting for Meg to get done with the dentist. His wife had a hysterectomy because of endo and he's carrying the baby to term, but will still be the father.

I got as far as the girl saying she was gonna be sick and I had to turn it off as it infuriated me. Okay I understand that this is not everyones cup of tea but tolerance people! Its his body, let him do what he want's to do with it.
